Sandy Sand is a fibre sculptor and textile artist based in the South East. She had her debut exhibition which showcased her unique 3D Wool Roving Sculptures of celebrities at The Brick Lane Gallery in 2013. The exhibition entitled ‘Stars in Jars’ earned her commissions by renowned Comedian/Journalist/Actor Sean Hughes and Musician Nick Cave also has a piece of her work, as has Grayson Perry . As well as working in the medium of un spun wool Sandy also hand paints illustrations onto textiles & converts Mannequins in to Mannequin Art. A variety of her work will be on display in August 2014 at The Menier Gallery in London and  September in Hoxton , Hoxton Arches .
